Booking terms
These terms govern the free pre-opening booking at Trasteros Carrús (Calle Requena 4, Polígono Industrial de Carrús, 03206 Elche). The owner of the service is the one stated in the legal notice.
1. What the booking is (and is not)
The booking is a free expression of interest: nothing is paid, no card is requested and it does not constitute a rental, lease or deposit contract. It obliges neither party to contract: you are not obliged to rent the unit, and Trasteros Carrús is not obliged to provide the service. Its only effect is to give you priority to contract the reserved unit when the site opens, under the terms of this document.
2. Priority in booking order
Bookings are handled in strict chronological order: the date and time the system records each booking determines the priority. The same unit may accumulate several bookings: the first in order has preference over that unit and the rest are in the queue, and this is stated at the moment of booking. If the unit is not available when their turn comes, those in the queue will be offered another of similar characteristics (equivalent size and price), which they are free to accept or not. Booking order also determines priority of access to the opening terms (section 6) if demand exceeds the units available.
3. Email confirmation and cancellation
When you book you will receive an email with a link to confirm your email address. If it is not confirmed within 72 hours, the booking expires automatically and the unit becomes available again. You can cancel your booking at any time and at no cost from the cancellation link in that email or by writing to hola@trasteroscarrus.es. Cancelling has no consequence: there is no penalty because you have paid nothing.
4. Opening is not guaranteed
The opening of the site is subject to obtaining licences and administrative authorisations, to the completion of the fit-out works and, ultimately, to the business decision to start the activity. If the site were not to open, or its opening were delayed, all bookings would become void with no right to compensation or indemnity of any kind, given their free and non-binding nature. Were that to happen, we would notify you by email and delete your data in accordance with section 8.
5. The floor plan may change
The layout of units shown on the website is the one planned, but the final one depends on the technical project and the works. If the unit you booked were to change in measurements or numbering, or disappear from the final layout, we will offer you — in order of priority — the available unit closest in size and price. You are free to accept it or to cancel the booking.
6. Price and opening terms
If the site opens, you will be given the price published at the time of your booking for the reserved unit (or the equivalent offered under section 5), plus the opening advantages communicated by email to those holding a booking. Those advantages are conditional on you confirming the booking under section 7.
7. Confirmation before opening
Before opening we will contact you by email (or by phone, if you gave us one) so you can confirm the booking and formalise the contract. If you do not reply within 7 calendar days of the notice, the booking will expire and the unit will be offered to the next person in booking order, or become available again.
8. Your data
The data you provide (name, email and optional phone) is used solely to manage the booking and tell you about the opening, in accordance with the privacy policy. It will be kept while the booking is active; if you cancel it, if it expires or if the site does not open, it will be deleted unless there is a legal obligation to retain it. 9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall fall to the courts and tribunals designated under consumer protection legislation.
